Within the Junior and Pre-Prep departments, we offer a wide range of extra curricular activities in which pupils can participate. For Junior pupils, there is an extension of sports taught during the school day, such as rounders, football, netball and cricket. We also provide different sports such as trampolining and judo. Apart from sport, pupils can also take part in activities such as cooking, art and craft and gardening. The younger pupils in the Pre-Prep classes have the chance to attend drama classes, ball skills sessions and cookery sessions.
Junior pupils have the chance to attend residential trips during their time at school. These range from a one night stay camping in the forest, to an eight night ski trip in Austria. All the extra-curricular activities are very popular with the pupils and we believe that they benefit hugely from the different experiences.
Sports fixtures against local schools are a regular feature of school life. We compete in a number of sports competitions and tournaments, mainly within the Independent Schools Association, as well as the Wessex league in football and netball.
