Anti-Bullying Ambassadors in School

Pupils from 5 schools across Hampshire and West Sussex travelled to Mayville High School to take part in an anti-bullying initiative inspired by Princess Diana. The day long anti-bullying campaign was led by the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Campaign and Charlton Brown an Anti- Bullying Co-ordinator from the organisation said “Our main aim is to train young people to be Anti-Bullying Ambassadors in schools creating a positive culture, and empowering them to create peer led campaigns in order to stop bullying. Portsmouth South MP Stephen Morgan attended the event and opened the floor to questions which included questions about what he did before he became an MP and teenage mental health. On the subject of bullying he said, “It is happening all too often in society and we need all to work together to eradicate bullying so that every young person can have the best chance in life.”
