80 pupils from 8 different schools across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight gathered at Mayville High School today to take part in an anti-bullying initiative inspired by Princess Diana. The day long anti-bullying campaign was led by the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Campaign. The main aim of the day is to train young people to be Anti-Bullying Ambassadors in schools creating a positive culture, and empowering them to create peer led campaigns in order to stop bullying. Mayville’s Mrs Reid, Assistant Head of Pastoral Care and English organised the event. The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have been learning about breaking down barriers and things they can do to make a difference.
